Wow, it is already October... Anyone else feel like summer came to an abrupt end? Never-the-less, I welcome the fall weather! With the season changing so rapidly I thought it would be fun to show off some of the ways that I style pieces in the transitioning season -- most importantly, I am finally getting a chance to show off some of my favorite Tory Burch pieces and how I style them!
I am so anxious -- in the best kind of way, to finally start posting ALL of the fashion content and sharing my styling tips! Now that I have moved into my new NYC apartment and FINALLY have a full length mirror, I can start posting more content more frequently, I consider the mirror a huge win.
Throughout this blog post, I showcase pieces from many different collections that Tory has created over the past couple of years and show how they can be styled into your everyday life and transitioned from season to season. You also get to see a little sneak preview of my new place. Okay, let's just jump right in!
Tory Wrap Skirt

I LOVE all of the subtle flavors embedded in this outfit. And yes, I do in fact mean flavors because this look is so tasteful and classy! This Tory Burch wrap skirt has a lining on the inside to not only help accentuate the full structure of the skirt but to also keep you warm in the colder months. This is my go-to skirt in the Fall and Winter months! I paired this skirt with my other Fall/ Winter go-to, a Ralph Lauren, chestnut turtle-neck sweater. I am a HUGE turtleneck lover, I think everyone can pull it off no questions asked -- they also make you seem very sophisticated in a casual way. (Notice the view in the back of the photos? Speechless.)

Then, I chose to accessorize this look with my vintage cheetah print, Manolo Blahnik back-less strap, kitten heels. AKA, my pride and joys. I thrifted these babies from a luxury consignment store here in NYC the first summer I lived in Manhattan and have kept them with me ever since! To add more color to the fit, I put on my bright green Little Liffner small, gold strap shoulder bag and wow did it add that necessary flare. This bag was not love at first sight I will admit, however, as I would style her with outfit after outfit, she never ceased to amaze me!
Lastly, no outfit is ever complete without jewelry. I chose to keep it more simple and just add some everyday white/gold hoops to go with the bag's strap and buckle, these are from H&M. I also added my favorite sunglasses from Zara because hey, the sun is still shinning!
Tory Floral Puff Sleeve

Have you ever seen a shirt represent both Spring and Fall at the same time? Because I feel like this shirt is IT... Honestly, this look was so fun to wear and the best part is the comfort level -- I feel like I could take on anything the day throws my way.
Starting from the top, I threw on a pair of large, rectangle diamond stud earrings with a gold frame. I am sorry in advance because you will not be able to find these anywhere as they are vintage have been passed down to me from my Abuelita, they are priceless. None-the-less, if you have a floral shirt, you can either let the shirt speak for itself or add a statement earring to make an even bigger statement!

As for this Tory Burch floral long sleeve, I absolutely adore the sleeves and print. The print is so dainty and feminine. It ties in two of my favorite colors -- tan and purple! The puff sleeve creates a very necessary flow, when walking through the wind these sleeves literally do a dance. The pleated cuffs add a playful, dramatic effect. I tucked my top into the jeans to add shape and to of course show off the waistband of these jeans, I mean... SO cute right?! I bought these jeans at the Minnesotan boutique, Primp. These were the last pair in the store, and to my surprise, they are a size small and had fit like a glove! (That usually never happens.) Since they are a boyfriend fit, I rolled the bottom hems a couple times and voilà!
The Tory Burch, natural Ella Tote is the perfect bag to throw with this outfit when you are out running errands or maybe you are packing for a picnic and need to travel in style, this completes the look! Also, when I use this tote, I sometimes have the thought that if I were to own a small dog, the tote would be the perfect bag to curl him/ her up into and keep them safe for our travels!

In conclusion of the outfit, these sock heel booties from Forever 21, tie in the black from the top very nicely while also hitting my ankles at the perfect point to where my pants hem ends.
Tory Tunic

I think collectively, people need to start rocking tunics more! My favorite fun fact I learned while working at Tory Burch is that in 2008, Prince himself rocked out at a Coachella concert, in one of Tory's classic studded white tunics! This tunic from Tory Burch is SO beautiful. The color combinations work so well with the whimsical ikat pattern. In person, you can see some sparkle that is stitched within the embroidered neckline! With this tunic, I am wearing a dark wash, distressed pair of Forever 21 jeans and black/ white Tory Burch Penelope pumps. I also highly recommend that all my gals go out and get a hair claw immediately. I bought this one from my local CVS, they are so much better for your hair than a regular hair binder, they look cute too.
Tory Wrap Dress
Okay, talk about fire! This Tory Burch red, wrap dress is one of THE most flattering dresses I have ever worn. Every time I wear this one, I get a ton of compliments! I styled this one two different ways to show my readers how easy it can be to make a loud piece of clothing, work for you in any direction you want to go.
First, I wanted to touch on the color, since this bright orangey/red dress is so vibrant I thought to coordinate the look better, I should throw on a red lip -- it just so happens that I own a red lip that matched this dress to a T! (I wore this very same look for Christmas last year!) The length of this wrap dress hits me right at the knee cap and in the winter time I like to throw on black, semi-sheer tights under the dress and boots for warmth. The boots are also Tory Burch! I want to point out that I am wearing a chunky, short, gold chain with matching smaller gold hoops but I can also see this being worn with pearls or spice it up with a printed head band or bandana!
This is the second look in this Tory wrap dress. I went more for a summer feel with this one just to show the versatility with the wrap dress! Here, you can see that I unbuttoned and rolled up the sleeves on either side as well as unbuttoning a button by the collar for that effortless summer glow. I paired the dress with a berry red, Tory Burch mailman, fold-over handbag and a shorter, kitten heel bootie from Derek Lam. To finish the look, try a messy bun and some sunnies!
Tory Handkerchief Button-up

And Finally... I have saved the best for last. The last Tory Burch piece I will be styling and sharing with you all in this blog post is this PHENOMENAL handkerchief, button-up from Tory's Spring 2020 collection.

This 18th century styled button-up is timeless in every way. As of late, I have been most intrigued with anything historical. Shows on an ancient era, fashion, food, travel... you name it. The hand stitched handkerchiefs, created with this top are breathtaking and most interestingly, they are detachable -- that way, the consumers can optimize on all of the different ways in which you would like to wear this top!
The first way I styled this top is by rolling the sleeves and tucking the bottom hem into a pair of white Tory Burch, synthetic fiber dress pants! Then, I wanted to wear a shoe with more of a color-tone like the stitches in the embroidered floral design on the handkerchiefs! So, I decided to go with these red wine colored brooke, knee-boots from Tory Burch and slide them over my white pants to slide the eyes attention up and down the whole look.

Lastly, since this handbag's color matched identically with the color of the boots, I also threw this bag in with this outfit too! How cute! I love all of the versatility in all these pieces. After seeing how well these berry colors looked with this look I found a lip color that was able to fit right in and continue the cohesion. Now, I said it before and I will say it again! No outfit is complete without jewelry! So, to accessorize this look, I grabbed the sunnies, put on these adorable dangly, square pearl earrings from Primp and a thick gold bangle and there you have it!

The second way to wear this button-up is to remove the handkerchiefs all together! Since the other look was more classy and refined, I wanted to try and modernize the look for the second styling tips! First, I unbuttoned the bottom few buttons and tucked only one side into my pants for an asymmetrical silhouette. Then, I layered this with a Tommy Hilfiger, tan blazer with the sleeves rolled to show the cuffs and lining of the blazer. Styling grunge and chic together, I put on blue distressed, boyfriend jeans from Forever 21 with these black lace up, chunky booties from the Nordstrom Rack!

With this look, I threw my hair in an updo to focus on the outfit a little more. To accessorize, I wore a gold and pearl chain, the same pearl, square earrings from Primp and vintage sunglasses I found at a consignment store!

And that is a wrap on my very first styling post!!! This is the first of many and I cannot wait to dive into so many more posts. I hope you all learned some very helpful styling tips and enjoyed reading this piece as much as I had writing it (and creating the content of course)!
Until next time!
